Restrictive Practices Training Australia Wide

Restrictive Practices Training (RP)

Our Restrictive Practices Training is designed to help staff understand the legal, ethical, and practical requirements associated with the use, reduction, and elimination of restrictive practices.

This training supports workers to recognise when restrictive practices may be considered, understand the approval and reporting requirements, and identify safer, person-centred alternatives wherever possible.

The program is suitable for disability services, aged care, schools, mental health, healthcare, and community services staff who work with individuals displaying behaviours of concern.

Training aligns with the requirements of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and relevant Victorian legislation and human rights principles.
