CBC Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner Certification Process

“A person the Commissioner considers is suitable to undertake behaviour support assessments (including functional behavioural assessments) and to develop behaviour support plans that may contain the use of a restrictive practice.”

The Complex Behaviour Change Australia (CBCA) provides training and certification in Therapeutic Positive Behaviour Support (TPBS), which is an integrated practice approach developed by CBCA.  Our TPBS training has been developed with the emerging requirements of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission in mind and aims to equip practitioners with the skills and knowledge necessary to undertake therapeutic positive behaviour support and effect positive change at various levels of person-environment complexity.  This document outlines the process for participants seeking certification in Complex Behaviour Change.

CBCA – Practice Board (CBCA-PB)

The Practice Board at CBCA comprises our most qualified and experienced trainers and consultants.  The role of the Practice board is to develop and review the contents of TPBS related training to ensure the training meets industry/clinical standards; oversee and endorse the certification of participants in CBC who have completed our training and meet our supervision requirements.
